Transfer Your Credits with Confidence
Gateway Education courses are ACE-recommended and designed to transfer to accredited colleges and universities. Confirm your school's policy and move closer to your degree.
How Credit Transfer Works
Follow these three simple steps to successfully transfer your Gateway Education credits to your degree program.
Check Your School
See if your college is a Gateway partner or accepts ACE®-recommended credits. Partner schools list specific course equivalencies.
Get Pre-Approval (Recommended)
Send your school the Gateway course name/description/syllabus and ACE® credit recommendation for review before you enroll.
Complete & Transfer
Finish the course with a 70%+ final grade, then request your transcript (Gateway Student Record or official ACE/Credly). Transcript delivery is electronic.
What Colleges Consider
Understanding how different types of institutions evaluate Gateway Education credits for transfer.
ACE® Recommendations
Gateway courses carry ACE CREDIT® recommendations considered by 1,500+ institutions. Final acceptance is always the receiving school's decision.
Partner Colleges
If your college is an official partner, transfer is guaranteed for the specific courses on its equivalency list.
Non-Partners
Many non-partner schools accept ACE® credits. Confirm in writing with admissions/registrar before enrolling.
