Student Success Guarantee (Course Refund Policy)
At Gateway Education, we are committed to student success. In rare cases when a student completes all course requirements but does not pass, we offer the following Student Success Guarantee:
You may receive a 100% refund of the course purchase price if you:
- View all video lectures in full,
- Complete and submit all assignments, quizzes, exams, and discussion posts,
- Actively participate and commit time and effort throughout the course,
- Earn below a 70% final course grade,
- Request a refund within 14 days of receiving the final course grade.
❗Note: This refund applies only to the $79 course fee. The $95 monthly subscription fee is non-refundable. This refund is not prorated — it is an all-or-nothing refund of the course fee only.

Limitation of Liability
Gateway Education provides educational content and services designed to support student learning and college credit acquisition. However, by using this platform, students acknowledge and agree to the following limitations:
- Credit Transfer Policy: Gateway Education courses are ACE CREDIT®-recommended and have been accepted by over 1,500 colleges and universities nationwide. For schools that have an official partnership with Gateway Education, credit transfer is guaranteed — but only for the specific courses listed in that school’s approved equivalency guide.
Students are responsible for reviewing their chosen partner school’s course equivalency list to confirm which Gateway courses will transfer and how they apply to their degree plan. For non-partner institutions, final credit acceptance is at the discretion of the receiving college or university. Gateway Education strongly recommends confirming transfer policies prior to enrollment. - No Degree Granting Authority: Gateway Education is not a college or university and does not confer degrees. We are a third-party provider of transferable courses.
- Technology & Internet Requirements: Students are responsible for maintaining their own internet connection and compatible devices. Gateway Education is not liable for access issues caused by local internet outages, software incompatibilities, or student-side technical failures.
- No Warranty: All services, materials, and content are provided “as is” and “as available” without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted access.
- Limitation of Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gateway Education shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform or reliance on its content.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
By using Gateway Education services, students agree that:
- Any disputes related to service, billing, or course outcomes will first attempt to be resolved through internal support and mediation.
- If unresolved, disputes will be settled through arbitration in the state where Gateway Education is headquartered.
- This agreement is governed by the laws of Indiana, regardless of the user's location.
